Referral Options for
Cervicogenic MSK Patients
Help for patients who do not fit your ideal patient-profile
If a patient presents with a symptom where there is an MSK component, why not consider referring them to the Living Centre Clinic in Wimbledon, London.
It could form part of the support they need on their road to recovery.
Why Send Your Patient To Us?
We have an in-house expertise in treating cervicogenic cranial symptoms as well as providing symptomatic relief for face, eye, sinus, jaw and ear problems.
Our treatments combine gentle tissue-specific cranial osteopathy, together with honed inter-personal skills. Inter-personal skills are often needed to address bio-psycho-social factors, which typically accompany longstanding symptoms.
• Cranial Treatment. My cranial treatments have been developed since the 1980s as I have a special interest in this area. My treatment style is gentle as often people have suffered enough already. I align this with listening carefully to the patent’s story to ensure the patient knows they have been heard. We know the Mind-Body relationship is paramount.
• Management. Getting the patient better is only the first step. The next is to help them stay that way. This requires adept communication to help motivate a habit-change. Self-motivation forms a critical part of management. We discuss the steps that would work for them, in their lives, in making such changes. This includes red flagging, avoidance and remedial actions.
