The Living Centre Clinic is seeking an enthusiastic osteopath to grow their own self-employed practice. Set in the heart of the Wimbledon area, our clinic enjoys a great variety of patient profiles.
I am looking for a new graduate or someone with less than 2 years’ experience. I am keen to share my 35 years of knowledge as a successful osteopath.
You can have as much or as little mentoring & support from me as you wish.

– Baby Clinic
Raynes Park is ‘baby city’ – we have numerous nurseries in and around. Being in a child-centric area, this would be an ideal opportunity to set up your own practice. Cranial is not a pre-requisite, but an interest in new-born babies and children would be an asset.
– Adult & Family Clinic
Most of our adult patients are female, typically young mums managing a growing family. This creates it's own mechanical-strains which may need assuaging. Also as Wimbledon has a high cohort of professional white-collar workers, spending long working hours, it is not surprising we see so many low-back, neck and shoulder pain patients; many of these being referred by their wives and partners.
If this is the area of interest to you, this might be the perfect opportunity you. It is also the area I have the most expertise in, as this is the main stay of my practice.
– Sports Injury Clinic
With the option of using our small rehab gym you can build a your won Sports Injury Clinic. Wimbledon is also known for tennis, football and rugby. We have a small but dedicated rehab gym from where you can show your patients how to exercise, to help re-build their health. You have full access to our video library of exercises so you can send patients exactly the exercises they need, or upload your own.
Help with Your Patients' Journey
We automate the diary system. After their treatment your patient receives a booking link by email. They can book their next appointment directly themselves 24/7 and not have to phone in or they don’t have to visit the website, find their practitioner, select their practitioner etc. They simply click the link in the email, and go straight to your diary & payment.
This means you get your payment up-front, reducing no-shows too.
If you need more help, we have a dedicated admin staff (Ann) who is there to help you with invoicing, payment queries, patient relations, etc. Ann is very experienced and has been with me over 15 years, so knows the clinic inside out.
Help with List Building & Promos
Our system sends out automatic recalls for 1, 3, 6 & 12 months. It also sends out emails and texts for people who cancel and forget to re-book. This helps you to keep on top of your patient care. Emails are sent out in your name with your contact email.
Once a year we send out a 25% discount for birthday treatments. This helps people come back, and rewards our loyal, regular patients.
We can run a dedicated promo just for you, in your name to your patient list. This includes your video message – I will help you with this, as we have professional video recording and editing equipment, your personalised blogs, email or text messages, or special promos that you might like to run.
As a clinic we we also run promos, calendar event and offers too, as we have over 7,000 consenting email addresses on our system.
We also use a social media company to publish on Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram, 3 times a week. You are welcome to put your own posts out too.
Help to Maximise your Clinical Skills
The clinic has two specialist osteopathy treatment beds. These therapy treatment tables gently decompress the spine, helping to re-nourish the fluid exchange in the intervertebral discs. It works by assisting manual lumbar flexion / extension in side-lying, supine and prone positions. It achieves almost instant relief when used correctly. We are one of a handful of clinics in the UK with these beds.
The patient experience is also very relaxing and many patients come back for this as a form of a regular osteopathy top-up treatment. See the video below for more information please.
Additionally I am happy to tutor in treatment technique, to help you achieve your potential. This includes manipulation and cranial work.
Diary, Treatment & Payments.
You have full access and control over your online diary, treatment notes and can contact patients directly if needed. We provide you with a personalised clinic email address so you can keep your private contact details private, when responding to patients.
On the day card payments are taken by yourselves by way of your own Sumup app linked to our card machine. This means you can see at a glance how much you have taken on card payments – you have your own account. You can also see how much you have taken as advance payment – we use Cliniko.
Cliniko integrates with Rehab My Patient so you can send the video exercises and advice sheets directly from inside Cliniko if you wish to. These exercises can be from our library, or you can upload your own exercises.
We also off the option of having your patients sent an automatic email with an advice sheet and exercises immediately after their treatment.
Pay and Teamwork
Gross fees for associates
£75 New Patient (1 hour)
£54 Followup (30 mins).
I would expect a new graduate osteopath, based on a 21 hour week, to take home upward of £30k pa.
You will be working alongside Marta Vacca (Mon, Tue, Fri and Sat), Jennifer Beck (occasional work, as she is training to become a mid-wife), and myself (Mon – Fri, I am reducing my hours).
Professional Development
At my peak I was treating up to 100 patients a week. There is scope for making a successful practice and I am happy to share with you my osteopathic skills as well as my management skills in handling patient throughput. It is my hope that as you develop your practice, I can reduce my hours, meaning win-win for all of us.
The Living Centre Clinic also offers massage, acupuncture, homeopathy, allergy testing too. So you will be working alongside a variety of other disciplines with scope for referral etc. All our clinicians are lovely people, genuinely dedicated to healthcare and health promotion. This offers an opportunity to interface with other disciplines to broaden your healthcare knowledge.
